Amos Goren

Amos Goren, partner at Apax since joining in 1997, focuses on investments in the healthcare area in Israel, Europe and the US. Since 2003, Amos has been heading the European Healthcare practice at Apax. Amos focuses primarily on the medical device and biotechnology areas, and is currently on the boards of Aerovance (US), Astex Therapeutics (UK), Cadent Holdings (US/Israel), Sense Proteomic (UK/Israel), and Dune Medical (Israel). Prior to joining Apax, Amos was the CEO of AquaPharm Technologies, a US based, venture backed drug delivery company, and Vice President of Carmel Container Systems, a publicly traded packaging manufacturing company. Amos received his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business, an MSc. in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and a BSc. in biology from the Hebrew University.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Binder Hamlyn, Chris joined Boehringer Mannheim and then Amersham plc. There he was firstly the Chief Accountant and then spent five years in Corporate Development working on strategic M&A. In 2002 he joined Procognia Limited as the CFO and sucessfully floated a subsidiary on the public markets.

Rachel Fallon

Rachel Fallon has 20 years experience working in life science R&D. Before joining Sense Proteomic, she held senior management positions in Amersham Biosciences. Rachel was accountable for product development from concept to commercialisation. She has managed projects encompassing technologies relevant for genomics and proteomics.
